In the wake of Pam Bondi‘s firing at the hands of US President Donald Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene has said that the president actively prevented federal officials from doing their job. This included the recently ousted US Attorney General, from releasing the Jeffrey Epstein files. The former US representative insisted that Trump was adamant about blocking the said files, going as far as to label them a “Democrat hoax.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene makes bold claims about Donald Trump and Pam Bondi
Marjorie Taylor Greene made an appearance on The Shannon Joy Show on April 21. The Republican had much to say about the president’s alleged involvement in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
“He had his administration, the White House, telling…[House Speaker Mike] Johnson and [Senate Majority Leader John] Thune, ‘Stop this, do not pass any resolution to release the Epstein files,'” the Republican politician exclaimed.
Greene also spoke about Donald Trump imposing the same request on the United States’ 87th attorney general. She stated, “He told Pam Bondi at the DOJ — no matter what you think of Pam Bondi — he flat out told her, ‘Do not release the Epstein files.’ He was blocking everybody.”
She further explained Trump‘s motivation for allegedly maintaining secrecy around the Epstein documents. Greene noted, “His reasoning was ‘people are going to get hurt.’…He was publicly saying it’s a Democrat hoax, saying all this stuff and shaming people, but behind the scenes, he was telling all of us, he was telling Mike Johnson…people are going to get hurt.”
She then recalled the final conversation she had with the US President. In it, Trump once again asked her not to publish the Epstein files. “He said, ‘My friends will get hurt…People you know, Marjorie, people at Mar-a-Lago, they’re going to get hurt,'” Greene revealed.
Notably, Marjorie Taylor Greene has served as the US representative for Georgia’s 14th congressional district since 2021. However, after a falling out, Donald Trump confirmed her departure from Congress. He later described her as “deranged,” as well as a “traitor.”
