It’s hard to remember a time that the Bravoverse has been as busy as it has of late. Between the cheating scandal involving Summer House’s Amanda Batula and West Wilson, followed by a leaked audio recording from the show’s reunion, and then news that The Valley’s Michelle Saniei is allegedly dating Dr. Dre, there’s a lot for Bravo fans to keep up with. Perhaps it’s not the best time, then, to reveal that Gizelle Bryant just spent an afternoon with Hollywood legend Angelina Jolie.
Angelina Jolie and Gizelle rubbed shoulders at a sorority event
Over the weekend, Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle attended a special brunch with her daughter, Angel. And Oscar-winner Angelina was also in attendance, alongside her daughter, Zahara.
The mother-daughter event was hosted by the Pearls of Purpose Foundation and the Nu Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. at Spelman College in Atlanta. Both Angel and Zahara attend the college, and are members of the AKA Sorority, too.
But news that Angel and Zahara run in the same circle was pretty big for Bravo fans, who only learned about this when RHOP legend Gizelle posted a photo to her Story. “Mother Daughter Magic,” she captioned the photo, which was quickly shared by several Bravo fan accounts.
“Iconic,” one fan said in response to the photo of Gizelle and Angelina. “Get Angelina on #RHOP next season!” someone else commented. “I love how random this is,” added a third.
“Word on the street is she IS the word on the street,” another viewer said, referencing Gizelle’s memorable former tagline. “And Gizelle thought she’d be the most famous mama there,” joked someone else.
