Angelina Jolie was reportedly holding on to the hope of a reconciliation with her now-ex-husband, Brad Pitt. This was initially after the high-profile Hollywood couple parted ways. The “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” star allegedly wished to patch things up with the “F1” actor after their split. However, she has now closed that chapter of her life.
An insider claims the actress believed there might still be a path back to Brad Pitt
Angelina Jolie reportedly believed there might still be a way for her to go back to her now-ex-husband, Brad Pitt, initially after their break-up. The “Maria” actor wanted to make amends with Pitt. As reported by Closer magazine, an insider revealed that the mother of six tried to have a reconciliation with her ex-husband. Now, that chapter of her life, where she allegedly hoped to reconcile with the actor, has come to an end.
In the meantime, per the news outlet, another source went on to suggest that Jolie never looked for a “reunion” with Pitt. However, according to the person, the actor did try to help her family “heal.” An insider also said to the news outlet that the “Salt” actor, who has allegedly been staying in Los Angeles, has now been “possibly planning” to spend “a lot more time” in Cambodia.
Jolie and Pitt tied the knot back in 2014. The A-list Hollywood couple went their separate ways in 2019. They share six children, including Maddox Chivan, Pax Thien, Zahara Marley, Shiloh Nouvel, Knox Léon, and Vivienne Marcheline. The kids have made several red carpet appearances with their mom over the years and showered her with support publicly.
Most recently, the actor brought her daughter Zahara to the 82nd Golden Globe Awards as her date. She was also joined by Knox at the Governors Awards 2024. Three of her kids, Maddox, Pax, and Zahara, gave her company on the red carpet at the 2024 New York Film Festival as well.
