Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently finished their four-day tour to Australia. During their visit, they not only attended many charitable events but Markle also closed some business deals. Experts did not really appreciate the latter. And if sources are to be believed, even Harry is not very satisfied with his wife’s approach. It reportedly seems to be causing a rift in their marriage.
A source told RadarOnline that the duchess of Sussex is now more focused on “commercial success,” and that is “playing a far more dominant role in how she approaches opportunities.” Adding further, the individual revealed that although Markle has “always been ambitious,” lately she has become obsessed with “financial outcomes.”
“For her, success is something that can be measured in growth, deals, and revenue, and right now, money is very much at the forefront of her thinking. She sees the income generated from the trip as proof that her strategy is working, and she takes a great deal of pride in that.”
However, it seems her focus does not sit well with Harry. “That shift is where her huge new friction with Harry is really starting to surface,” the source pointed out. Due to the duke’s background, talking about money “or tying it too closely to public-facing work” is considered “inappropriate.” Thus, “the idea of blending charitable appearances with clear commercial gain doesn’t sit easily with him,” the source added.
As per the tipster, Harry feels there should be a “clear boundary between doing good and making money.” Due to recent events, he is finding it difficult to accept the blurring of that line. That is why Markle’s move has reportedly made him uneasy. According to the source, he is not sure “whether this direction aligns with his own values.” Her move, the source says, has left Harry “physically shaking with discontent at times.”
