Meghan Markle’s desire to release Prince Archie’s birthday photo concerns Prince Harry, per source
Prince Harry has reportedly been concerned about Meghan Markle’s desire to release their kid’s photos on social media. According to a Woman’s Day report, the Duchess of Sussex might want to post Prince Archie’s formal photo. She would likely have wanted to do so to mark her son’s seventh birthday. But a source claimed that the Duke didn’t like the idea.
“Harry knows from bitter experience how a childhood in the spotlight can change your life and not always for the better,” a royal insider claimed. According to them, the Sussex couple has reportedly been in multiple disagreements over their kids’ privacy.
While Harry would seemingly avoid releasing the little one’s photos, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s kids have already made their social media debut. Therefore, seeing that, Markle allegedly wanted to follow the same path. “It’s hard for Meghan to see her kids’ cousins have all the fun while her two have to be protected at all costs because of security,” they added.
Aside from the children’s privacy, Harry has reportedly been concerned about another factor. According to the insider, the “Spare” author worried about his wife’s move. Reportedly, she “keeps pushing her luck with her branding and using Archie and Lilibet, who are in line to the throne, and he thinks it’s a dangerous game.”
Furthermore, an earlier report claimed that Harry was “uncomfortable” after Markle uploaded a photo of their daughter. She posted Princess Lilibet’s picture to mark International Day of the Girl in October 2025.
