Archie Beador is a beloved member of Shannon’s Beador’s family. He’s also an honorary member of The Real Housewives of Orange County. So of course, RHOC fans are invested in his well-being. And Archie really has a presence on camera.
After sending her three girls out into the world, Shannon is an empty nester. But the reality TV star has her loyal companion by her side for this next phase of life. Unfortunately, Archie is going to need all the love and support possible. He is facing a major health battle. After experiencing a seizure last month, the beloved dog has a diagnosis.
Shannon revealed her beloved Archie has brain cancer
Shannon shared the very heavy news in an Instagram post. She included a picture of the adorable golden retriever sitting in the grass with a tennis ball.
“I know my posts about my dogs are usually fun and silly, but today I wanted to share something more serious. After experiencing multiple seizures, Archie has been diagnosed with brain cancer,” the RHOC veteran announced.
Shannon continued, “Our heart aches for our sweet Archie. He means the world to the girls and I. We are going to do everything we can to help him fight this. Archie has seen a neurologist and oncologist and it has been recommended that he start radiation soon.”
RHOC viewers will know how much of a support Archie is to Shannon. Her tag line last season alluded to the loyal pet. And to her prior relationship with John Janssen. She stated, “For once, the only dogs in my life are golden retrievers.”
Now, with a diagnosis in place, as daunting as it is, the Bravolebrity reached out to her followers for support.
“If anyone has experience with this or advice to share, it would truly mean so much to the girls and I. Please don’t hesitate to DM and reach out. Thank you for loving Archie as much as we do,” she concluded.
We are sending Archie all the love and support to return to good health.
