Summer House star Lindsay Hubbard is still trying to navigate her friendships, amid the aftermath of Scamanda.
Though she’s known Amanda Batula since Season 1, Lindsay “doesn’t know how she feels about her yet.” When she first met the Amanda Batula Swim founder in 2017, she was dating her now-estranged husband Kyle Cooke. The three of them have been friends for a decade, alongside Lindsay’s ex-fiancé Carl Radke.
The Summer House OG isn’t talking to West Wilson, either
Currently, “Lindsay is not talking to West [Wilson] or Amanda,” an insider told Us Weekly. Additionally, though West reportedly “reach[ed] out to her” after the contentious Season 10 reunion, she hasn’t spoken to him. Furthermore, Lindsay “does not plan on talking to West,” the source added.
When news broke on March 31 about West and Amanda’s romantic entanglement, it hit their castmates like a bomb. Kyle and Amanda only announced their separation in January. In addition, West had previously dated Amanda’s now-former BFF Ciara Miller. In April, another source told Us Weekly that West and Ciara hooked up “about three to four weeks ago.” Obviously, Ciara had no idea that West and Amanda were seeing each other.
For her part, Lindsay is “still upset … about how [Amanda] handled things with Kyle and [for lying] to Ciara,” per the insider. Fans can look forward to seeing Linday’s unfiltered thoughts at the Season 10 reunion, which airs May 19.
Meanwhile, on April 17 Ciara told Glamour she was more hurt by the betrayal of her friend than by West. “At the end of the day, a guy’s a guy,” she said. “You just can’t put anything past a man. But I just never would think that it would come from someone like Amanda, who has been … in my circle and in my corner for so long … That’s the craziest part.”
