Ryan Reynolds posted on Mother’s Day to praise Blake Lively for how she takes care of their kids. On May 10, Reynolds posted a pair of photos to his Instagram Stories. The photos featured the couple hugging near a waterfall, both smiling in each other’s company.
The caption left no room for doubt about how he sees her. Reynolds wrote, “I appreciate this mother beyond measure,” adding, “She is kind. She is fearless. She’s the absolute love of my life and to our four little kids, she’s the life of their love.”

Ryan Reynolds’ Mother’s Day tribute for Blake Lively showed how the “Deadpool” actor sees his wife, and how he sees her as a mother of their kids.
The couple tied the knot in September 2012, and they now share four children — James, Inez, Betty, and Olin. They rarely put the kids in the spotlight, but Lively found a way to bring them along to the Met Gala on May 4, walking the red carpet in an archival Atelier Versace gown and carrying a custom Judith Leiber clutch featuring original watercolor paintings by each of their children.
Speaking to Vogue on the carpet, Lively said, “We were trying to find a piece of famous, iconic art to put on and make it look like it was in a frame.” She added, “And then I said, ‘Would you, actually, if you’re gonna make it custom, would you do my kids?’”
Then, the “Gossip Girl” star revealed, “My kids each painted a watercolor painting.” She added, “Each of my four kids did this, so I have them with me, because I’m shy too, so I just like to have the kids with me. Isn’t that special?”. Moreover, she joked that she probably could have fit them under her dress, but the bag did the job.
