Podcasters and former friends Alix Earle and Alex Cooper have allegedly been feuding for some time. But in a new TV interview, Alix did little to shut the rumors down … instead opting to shut down any questions on the topic.
The social media star tried to shut down the probing questions
While appearing on the Today show to promote her new Sports Illustrated cover, Alix was asked by the host about the “back and forth” between herself and the Call Her Daddy host.
“There seems to be a bit of online beef there,” Craig Melvin probed. “What’s actually happening? What’s really going on?”
To that, Alix had a diplomatic – albeit uncomfortable – response. “I’m trying to keep things pretty positive today. We don’t have that much time here, honestly,” she replied. “Also, why ruin such a good day with something not so great?”
Not willing to let it go (and, seemingly still in search of tea for fans of the feuding pair), Craig questioned if there was “legitimate contiguousness” or if what’s gone on has “been exaggerated.”
“No, it’s exaggerated,” Alix said firmly. “I love everyone.”
Despite admitting that he was “not buying” her story, Craig dropped the subject after that. Awkward!
In case you missed it (how!?), tensions between the duo are thought to have begun back in February 2025. Around that time, Alix’s Hot Mess podcast was dropped by Alex’s Unwell Network, but it’s only recently that the pair have been shading each other online.
For her part, Alex said in a recent TikTok that she is “tired” of the “fake drama.”
“I gotta call you out here,” the podcaster said, naming Alix directly and calling her “passive aggressive” in her behavior. “I know what happened, and so do you.”
