A celebrity-filled London party is drawing attention after reports claimed Taylor Swift deliberately avoided mingling with ex-Prince Andrew’s daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, during the event.
Swift attended Poppy Delevingne’s lavish 40th birthday celebration alongside fiancé Travis Kelce, where royals and celebrities reportedly partied together late into the evening. While several outlets suggested the “Love Story” singer crossed paths with Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, insiders now claim that was not the case. According to sources, Swift allegedly chose to keep her distance to avoid becoming tied to the ongoing royal controversy.
Taylor Swift avoided ‘royal controversy’ by staying away from ex-Prince Andrew’s daughters, per source
As Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack reports, Taylor Swift was highly selective about her interactions during the high-profile London gathering. The singer and fiance Travis Kelce were reportedly among nearly 300 guests at the celebration, which featured a mix of British royals, actors, fashion figures, and socialites.
However, despite being under the same roof as Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, sources claim Swift intentionally avoided spending time with them. “Eugenie and Beatrice would have loved to meet Taylor,” one insider alleged. “But Taylor was having absolutely no part of it.”
The source further claimed that the singer was aware of the media attention surrounding the York family and did not want unnecessary speculation tied to her name. Another insider reportedly described the move as strategic rather than personal.
According to the source, Swift carefully manages her public image and avoids situations that could create unwanted headlines. The insider alleged she wanted to stay away from any “casual gossip linking her to royal controversy.”
Sources also claimed Swift remained polite throughout the evening and did not create any visible tension. Instead, she and Kelce allegedly “stayed close to friends” for most of the party. “They were relaxed, affectionate, and very careful about who they interacted with,” one guest shared.
The celebration itself attracted a long list of recognizable names. Guests reportedly included Lily James and Nicky Hilton Rothschild, while the royal sisters attended with their husbands following a busy week in the public eye.
