In a May 13 interview, James Kennedy’s former girlfriend Ally Lewber reacted to the rumor that her ex is about to become a dad.
“Shocked,” the Vanderpump Rules alum admitted. “I didn’t know he had a girlfriend … We know he moves quickly, and he always wanted to be a dad. That was always a thing with us. He was so ready for all of that stuff yesterday, and I’m still not ready. We haven’t talked, so I just hope he’s happy and healthy, and I wish them the best.”

While wishing James and his alleged baby mama well, Ally remembered their messy breakup as being “a heavy one.” As you may recall, James lost his temper at Kathy Hilton’s annual Christmas party in December 2024. The fight continued after they returned home, and James ended the evening being arrested for domestic violence.
“I’ve gone through breakups before, but it was really heavy,” she told Netflix’s Tudum. Afterwards, “I was not interested at all in dating; I was really just healing and hanging out with my friends. I didn’t date after James, [since] I was not ready to open myself up in that way.”
According to the spiritual astrologer, she and James haven’t spoken since their breakup. However, when Southern Hospitality cast member Joe Bradley recently ran into James at Coachella, he said the DJ allegedly mentioned Ally.
“Joe told me the next day, ‘Yeah, James came up and had some things to say about you moving to Charleston.’ So it’s still James just being James,” she shared. “I have not [spoken with him]. I do still have some mutual friends with him, and even they were shocked by the news. So it sounds like he’s pretty low-key these days.”
After moving to Charleston in January for a “fresh start,” Ally reportedly landed a role on Season 4 of Southern Hospitality. But whether she’s been hired as a cast member or is just making a one-off cameo appearance remains to be seen.
Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock.
