Andy Cohen Cracks Down on Real Housewives Stars Over Leaks — Report

Receipts, proof, timeline, and screenshots are all things Andy Cohen doesn’t want floating around about him. A new insider report claims that the Real Housewives executive and Watch What Happens Live host has cracked down on his personal communication with the stars of his beloved Bravo franchise. Supposedly, he’s become “paranoid” about potential leaks, and he’s making sure that he doesn’t fall victim to one.

According to a new report from Radar Online, Andy has become increasingly worried about his communications with the Housewives and is trying to keep things strictly professional moving forward. He doesn’t want to end up in another situation where a Housewife is exposing their private texts.

“Andy used to text the women constantly,” one insider told the outlet. “Gossip, reassurance, damage control, late-night check-ins. But that version of Andy is gone.”

Of course, Andy has been burned by scorned Housewives in the past. Brandi Glanville accused him of sending her a sexually explicit message and threatened him with a sexual harassment lawsuit.

Meanwhile, Leah McSweeney filed a workplace discrimination lawsuit and accused Andy and other producers of The Real Housewives of New York of creating a hostile work environment. In that same lawsuit, she accused Andy of doing cocaine with Housewives in exchange for favorable edits on their shows.

Andy has denied all of those allegations, but insiders said he’s gotten “tired of handing people ammunition” and is trying to keep things strictly professional when he communicates with the Housewives.

“Now, if something sensitive needs discussing, it goes through producers, lawyers, or a phone call,” an insider added. “Andy does not want anything sitting in somebody else’s camera roll.”

These rumors about Andy’s crackdown come as Leah’s workplace lawsuit prepares to head to trial. A judge has already determined that the case will play out in a public hearing, and it sounds like Andy is quietly working behind the scenes to make sure he doesn’t end up in this situation again.
