The Real Housewives of Orange County (finally!) returns to TV screens soon for Season 20. During the show’s two-decade run, friendships have formed and fallen apart, particularly for two of the most beloved housewives: Shannon Beador and Tamra Judge.
Ahead of RHOC’s Season 20 premiere, Shannon has given fans an update on where she stands with her former BFF following their ongoing feud.
The RHOC Season 20 cast members are still filming together
On the upcoming season of RHOC, the infamous Tres Amigas will be reunited. For that, fans can thank Vicki Gunvalson (yep, the OG of the OC), who has returned to the show. But since Vicki’s return was confirmed at BravoCon last year, RHOC viewers have been wondering whether the Tres Amigas will actually get along on Season 20. That’s because Shannon and Tamra have had quite the volatile friendship in recent years.
Speaking about exactly that to Entertainment Tonight this week, Shannon shared an update on her friendship with Tamra, both on Season 20 and beyond…
After ET’s interviewer pointed out that the Tres Amigas have a “fractured” relationship, Shannon said that at least the former friends were able to film together. “Where did you net out [at the end of the season] with Tamra? What’s your vibe with Tamra?” the reporter asked.
“You know what, I can be in a room [with her]. I can share a laugh [with her],” Shannon replied.
“Let’s just keep it there,” she went on, hinting that she no longer wants to get too close to Tamra. “I’m not trying to be an asshole,” she went on. “That’s just what is best for me.”
Tamra seemingly has other ideas for her friendship with Shannon, however. In a later clip, Tamra revealed she had a two-hour phone call with Shannon. This came as a shock to the other RHOC stars.
“I filmed an entire season of us trying to get [you two] together, and now you’re going to be on the phone for two hours,” Gina Kirschenheiter said in response to Tamra’s revelation.
The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 20 premieres July 9 on Bravo, and streams the next day on Peacock.
