Though she’s been on camera most of her life, even Gia Giudice forgets sometimes that she’s wired for sound.
During the July 9 episode of Next Gen NYC, Gia had a whispered conversation with Brooks Marks behind closed doors. Though she was trying to be sneaky, what she forgot was that she was wearing a hot mic.
The Bravo star panicked when she realized the audio was caught for Next Gen NYC Season 2

When Gia’s boyfriend Christian Carmichael wanted to give Charlie Zakkour a call, Brooks had just one request. “I just don’t want to hear his voice in my apartment,” he said. “So just don’t put him on speaker, please.”
After respecting Brooks’ wishes, Christian completed his call, but afterwards texted Gia with some tea.
But after reading his text, Gia pulled Brooks into the bathroom for a quick download. “Charlie just said to Christian, ‘Make sure Brooks keeps my name out of his mouth,'” she whispered. “I’m just, like, tired of that sh*t. Like, that is so toxic and crazy.”
Though she thought she was sly, a producer reminded her she was wearing a microphone the whole time. “F*ck, it’s shown?” the Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter responded. “F*ck! Christian’s gonna be so mad at me.”
“I want Brooks to be prepared,” she explained. “Just in case Charlie tries to throw any curve balls at him.”
“I don’t know what I said or did that warranted that,” Brooks said in his own confessional. “It feels, like, weird and threatening.”
Furthermore, Brooks was not happy about Charlie being “so mean” to his friend Riley Burruss last year. Neither was her mother, Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kandi Burruss.
Next Gen NYC airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the following day.
