Andy Cohen is not hiding from the age-gap chatter. The Bravo boss addressed his romance with Kevin Sobieski after a Watch What Happens Live moment put their 16-year difference back in the spotlight.
Bravo mogul pushes back against online critics tracking his high-profile romance
Andy Cohen found himself in the middle of an age-gap conversation during the July 8 episode of Watch What Happens Live. The moment started when a fan asked Next Gen NYC star Georgia McCann about Ava Dash and Kyle Cooke.
McCann questioned why a woman would get involved with a man more than 18 years older. As the cast reacted, the camera turned to Cohen, who quickly joked, “Don’t put the camera on me.” He then covered his face with a cue card and added that he was only in a “16-year age gap relationship.” It was a very Andy Cohen way to address the online chatter: funny, direct, and just awkward enough to make the clubhouse laugh.
The Andy Cohen relationship 2026 chatter has followed him since early June. At the time, photographers spotted him holding hands with Kevin Sobieski during a birthday outing in New York City. Soon after, Cohen confirmed on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live that he had a boyfriend and had “met the person.”
Bravo’s Daily Dish later shared more details from Cohen’s radio reveal. The Watch What Happens Live host said he met his boyfriend at a July Fourth party in 2025 and that their relationship developed slowly and deliberately.
Cohen also praised Sobieski as kind, strong, smart, and good with his children, Ben and Lucy. He said the relationship had been easy and that they had gone nearly a year without a real disagreement.
So, no, Cohen did not deliver a dramatic defense of Kevin Sobieski. But he didn’t dodge the age-gap discussion, either. Instead, he made the joke before anyone else could and reminded viewers that he is clearly comfortable with where things stand.
