Heather Dubrow has thoughts on Vicki Gunvalson’s boyfriend, who has become quite the topic of conversation on the current season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
To recap, Vicki revealed in Season 20 that her boyfriend – Michael Smith – has had an engagement ring for over a year … but he hasn’t given it to her. “He says it’s in the safe and he’s not going to give it to me until I shape up,” she revealed in the Season 20 premiere.
As for what “shape up” means? Well, who knows! Nonetheless, Vicki’s co-star Heather certainly doesn’t approve…

While answering a fan’s question on Watch What Happens Live! this week, Heather described Michael’s behavior in regards to the ring as “red flag.”
After the fan suggested Michael was “holding the ring over Vicki’s head,” Heather said it was initially “very interesting” to her.
“At first I thought it was silly,” she said. “But then I started thinking about it.”
Heather explained that Michael’s decision to tell Vicki about the ring, but not give it to her, was “sending a signal.” Ultimately, she said that was a bit of a “red flag.” Heather then added that her husband, Terry Dubrow, with whom she’d discussed it, also “thought it was bad.”
In the comment section, there was no doubt that fans agreed with Heather and Terry’s POV. “It’s so manipulative if he brings that up every time she doesn’t ‘act’ the way he likes,” one person commented.
“Vicki has horrible taste, what’s new?” someone else asked, as a third agreed: “Vicki just ignores the red.”
