Annemarie Wiley is speaking out after comments made by Emmanuel Acho about her abuse allegations against estranged husband Marcellus Wiley. The former RHOBH star called Acho’s remarks “disgusting and disturbing” in a lengthy Instagram statement. Her post also included a message of support for domestic violence survivors.

In her Instagram post, Annemarie criticized Acho for discussing her situation without understanding what abuse victims experience. “I’m seeing some very disgusting and disturbing things that sick men, like Emmanuel Acho, are saying about me and what has recently happened with my family,” she wrote.
Annemarie went on to explain why many victims stay in abusive relationships. She said women often “normalize,” “tolerate,” and hide the abuse until they are “completely broken.” “Please know that when we leave, it is always because we had no other choice left,” she continued.
The reality star also said people who excuse or enable abusive behavior make it harder for victims to come forward. She ended her statement by encouraging survivors to know they are “not alone,” “safe now,” and capable of rebuilding their lives.
The post followed comments Acho made on the Speakeasy podcast. He questioned Annemarie’s allegations after she previously praised Marcellus publicly. He also criticized her social media posts involving their children.
The latest statement comes weeks after Annemarie filed for divorce and requested a domestic violence restraining order against Marcellus. In court documents, she accused the former NFL player of years of physical, sexual, verbal, and emotional abuse dating back to 2012.
Marcellus has denied the allegations. He previously said he has evidence that contradicts Annemarie’s claims and plans to address the matter through the legal process. He was also arrested on a domestic battery charge in July before being released on bond.
