Luka Dončić and his ex-fiancée, Anamaria Goltes, continue to face a legal battle after ending their relationship earlier this year. The new report suggests the dispute has spread to Slovenia following Goltes’ withdrawal of her child support case in California. The latest filing reportedly includes major financial and custody requests.

According to TMZ Sports, Goltes filed a new legal claim in Slovenia and seeks a total settlement of $50 million. Sources with direct knowledge told the outlet she wants $40 million for herself. According to the report, Goltes is seeking $40 million for herself, while the remaining $10 million is connected to matters involving the couple’s two daughters.
Luka said before that he would do anything for his children, but the bigger monetary request may prove to be an issue, the report said.
TMZ Sports also reported that Goltes wants changes to Dončić’s custody rights. He is currently spending at least two days a week with the children, the outlet said. Goltes reportedly wants to reduce that time to one day each week. Dončić and Goltes did not respond to the new filing.
Earlier this week, Goltes asked a California court to dismiss her child support petition. Court documents stated that she wanted to resolve the matter “amicably and by a mutual agreement” in the best interests of their children. TMZ Sports reported that the new Slovenia filing came shortly after that request. The couple has two daughters, Gabriela, 2, and Olivia, 7 months.
Previously, Dončić had contended that the legal battle should not be in California because the children reside in Slovenia. He also stated that he had already begun legal action there regarding custody and child support.
It was reported that the Los Angeles Lakers star remains in Slovenia to stay close to his daughters after announcing in May that he would skip playing for Slovenia’s national team this summer while pursuing joint custody. The report also indicated that Dončić is set to host the Lakers for a four-day minicamp in Slovenia later this month.
