Bethenny said, “I want to be in a successful relationship for myself and my daughter because we’re rolling very light and it comes up during holidays.”
“It comes up just in different ways with our unit,” she added
Bethenny further shared that there are many “personal things” surrounding her daughter Bryn’s family dynamic that have influenced her approach to parenting.
“I want a unit, I want a family. I want to be part of a team, and I want to work for sure because I believe in the power of purpose and in being connected to something,” she concluded
The 55-year-old American entrepreneur’s comments highlight the parenting challenges she and Jason Hoppy have faced while navigating the ups and downs of their relationship.
Talking about the child custody battle, Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy reached a temporary custody settlement in 2014, but the legal battle continued behind the scenes.
In 2019, the court reopened the trial, where Bethenny Frankel discussed the severe emotional distress and toxic living conditions she experienced before and after the separation. In 2021, the court granted Frankel both physical and legal custody of Bryn.
