Riley spoke with TMZ in New York City on Monday about life after Kandi and Todd’s split. She said she is still getting used to her relationship with her stepdad. Riley described divorce as “never easy” and said they are all feeling the change. Despite the split, she said Todd still has her back.
Kandi and Todd met while filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta and married in 2014. The former couple divorced in November after 11 years of marriage. Their divorce included a bitter back-and-forth. During the proceedings, Kandi initially requested joint custody of their children. She later amended her request to sole custody after Todd requested primary custody.
The former couple continued to dispute custody for months after their split. They eventually reached an agreement during divorce proceedings in March 2026. Kandi and Todd told the court they had reached a full and final settlement. Their agreement gave them joint legal and physical custody of their two children, bringing the divorce battle to an end.
With the divorce settled, Riley is now adjusting to the family changes that followed. She says Todd still supports her despite his split from Kandi. She made it clear that her relationship with Todd remains strong despite his divorce from her mother.
