Liann accused Brayden of taking advantage of Taylor during their alleged encounter. She claimed Taylor was heavily intoxicated and did not remember consenting. Liann described the alleged incident as a sex crime. She also criticised Tate for allowing Taylor to leave while intoxicated.
Tate responded to Liann in a lengthy social media post. He said he had remained quiet to protect his children. However, he argued the allegations required him to respond quickly. “Staying silent doesn’t feel like an ethical move,” Tate wrote.
According to Tate, he repeatedly called Taylor and asked her to come home. He said she refused and asked him to leave her alone. Tate later received a call from Makenna Gibbons. He claimed she told him Taylor and Brayden had turned off their phones.
Tate said he brought his children to Makenna’s home while searching for Taylor. Tate alleged Taylor had invited Brayden over that night. He also claimed she continued seeing Brayden afterwards.
Tate said Taylor initially denied anything happened between them. According to Tate, Makenna later discovered the messages between Taylor and Brayden that confirmed their affair.
Tate disputed Liann’s description of their relationship. He claimed Taylor wanted an “open relationship.” “It wasn’t planned or my idea to do that,” he alleged. He claimed he pretended to be sick when Taylor first suggested it.
Tate also acknowledged his own shortcomings in the marriage. “I could have been a better husband and family leader,” he wrote. He said the mistake was something he has learned from. Tate ended his response by criticising Liann for discussing events she did not witness. He accused her of making “nefarious dishonest accusations” to protect Taylor’s image. Meanwhile, Liann continued standing by her claims about the alleged encounter.
