Judge rejects Tate Paul’s emergency request against Taylor Frankie Paul
Recently, Tate also asked for sole physical and legal custody of his two children, Ocean and Indy, with Taylor. According to PEOPLE, commissioner Kim Luhn wrote in her decision that Tate’s claims were “based upon inadmissible hearsay, without any corroborating evidence.” She also noted that “contrary” to Tate’s allegations that his “children are in immediate danger,” Taylor claimed that Tate left their children with her in June during a week-long trip.
Meanwhile, TMZ reported that Tate cited in his filing a 2023 video, which showed Taylor and Dakota involved in a domestic violence incident. In the footage, she threw a barstool at her daughter, Indy. Taylor was arrested following the incident, but did not serve any jail time.
Reportedly, Tate did not seek sole custody in 2023 because he never saw the disturbing video. Plus, sources claimed to TMZ that Taylor told Tate the barstool never stuck their daughter. In her response to the court, Taylor claimed that the barstool never hit Indy. And she allegedly blamed Dakota for sharing false information.
This isn’t the only recent legal drama involving Taylor. Dakota recently contacted the Bluffdale Police Department, allegedly voicing concerns about their restraining orders, custody of their son, and drop-offs. As a result, Taylor was contacted by the police to make sure that all parties had a clear understanding of the rules. The matter was then referred to the district attorney.
