Ariana Grande said her Eternal Sunshine tour gave her a renewed connection with fans. The singer described the experience as a major change from her previous tour. Grande also reflected on how the performances affected her ahead of her planned break.

Ariana Grande says the ‘Eternal Sunshine’ tour helped her feel more present and connected with fans.

Grande discussed her experience during an appearance on Jessica Vosk’s Vosk in the City. She called the tour a “beautiful corrective experience” after years away from touring. The singer said she felt different compared with her previous live performances.

“Doing this tour has felt like such a beautiful corrective experience for me,” Grande said. She explained that she was not in the same place during her last tour. This time, she felt more present while performing for her audience.

Grande said she could now “actually see and connect and feel” with her fans. She also emphasized how meaningful those connections had become. Her songs had been part of their relationship for about 13 years.

The singer joked that she had been unable to see fans clearly during her previous tour. Grande explained that she was not wearing contact lenses then. She now enjoyed recognizing fans and seeing their creative outfits during shows.

Grande began the Eternal Sunshine tour in June. The tour marked her first major tour since the 2019 Sweetener World Tour. She is scheduled to complete the tour with a final show in London.

Her comments came shortly after announcing a break from public-facing work. Grande said she planned to step back after the tour concluded. Her representative described the decision as a thoughtful choice.

Grande also addressed concerns that public scrutiny influenced her decision. She said the break was not a “reactive or impulsive” choice. Instead, she had quietly planned it long before making the announcement. The singer also described the tour as deeply meaningful to her. She said nothing could distort the love she shared with fans.

Grande ultimately called the experience healing, beautiful, and corrective.

Her final performances therefore carried added meaning before her planned time away. Grande appeared determined to finish the tour on a positive note. The experience had seemingly changed how she viewed performing for her fans.
