Scheana Shay addresses her future on The Valley after declining Season 3
Recently, the 41-year-old spoke with listeners on her Amazon podcast, Scheananigans with Scheana Shay, where she discussed turning down the opportunity to join The Valley for Season 3. However, during the conversation, Shay also hinted that joining The Valley “maybe in the future” could still be possible.
Shay said, “It just didn’t feel like the right time. I’m just not sure that that’s where this next chapter of my story belongs. It didn’t feel right**.**”
“Maybe in the future. But last year, where I was at, it didn’t feel right. It does feel like it would be so easy. It makes so much sense. I’m friends with most of them. I’ve also had some rude awakenings about some over the past year,” she added**.**
The Vanderpump Rules alum appeared to reference Janet Caperna, who she feels broke her trust. While Shay sees The Valley as an organic fit, she also questioned whether she is personally ready to return to reality TV full-time.
Shay said, “There’s like some unresolved things [with multiple cast members]. And I mean, I think from a storytelling perspective, it would be an organic fit. It would make sense. But it’s also tolling on your mental health.”
“And it’s like, at what cost? Like, am I ready to jump back in and do that again?” she concluded**.**
