Rebel Wilson is facing new allegations in her legal dispute with producer Amanda Ghost after court documents detailed a proposed $110,000 campaign targeting Ghost. Wilson’s lawyer has called the latest filing “one-sided and incomplete.”

Amanda Ghost’s lawyers filed new evidence in court on Tuesday to support the producer’s claims against Rebel Wilson. The documents include messages that allegedly show Wilson discussing a $110,000 “untraceable site” with publicist Melissa Nathan.
According to the New York Times, the public relations figures connected to the alleged campaign are the same people involved in allegations surrounding Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s legal dispute. The documents name Melissa Nathan, a publicist; Bryan Freedman; and Jed Wallace, a digital strategist. Nathan was also a part of the legal dispute between Lively and Baldoni.
Wilson’s lawyer, Allyson Thompson, called the motion “one-sided and incomplete.” She said, “There are two sides to every story, and Ms. Wilson looks forward to telling her side at the trial in this disputed matter.”
“The smear campaign was designed to destroy my reputation and my career,” said Ghost.
Amanda Ghost was the producer of “The Deb,” Wilson’s directorial debut. Tensions between them reportedly began during the film’s rollout after Wilson accused producers of embezzling money and attempting to prevent its Toronto Film Festival premiere.
Ghost filed a defamation lawsuit against Wilson, while Wilson filed a countersuit alleging embezzlement, breach of contract, and sexual misconduct.
Later, a website called Ghost “the Indian Ghislaine Maxwell” and a “con artist, a thief and a pimp.” The website also accused her of “procuring young women for the pleasure of the extremely wealthy.” Similarly, another website used the same derogatory language for her. Ghost took the matter to court, claiming that Wilson had been paying websites to defame her. Court proceedings have included evidence concerning websites targeting Ghost, although Wilson has repeatedly denied involvement in creating them.
Wilson denied her claims, stating that she had “accumulated numerous enemies over the years.”
In the latest filing, Ghost’s legal team has presented evidence. It allegedly supports the producer’s claims that Wilson was a part of the campaign against her. The newly filed messages include a proposed $110,000 price for an “untraceable site.” However, Wilson has said she does not remember the exchange. She testified that it was possible she sent or received the messages.
