A source told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice that the Sussexes’ A-list friends in America didn’t have time for them. “They imagined this emotional send-off surrounded by the people who welcomed them to America. Instead, everyone was busy. It was embarrassing.”
Moreover, neighbors told the outlet that they expected a farewell party filled with celebrities. According to the insider, Markle and Harry have many A-list pals, including David Foster, Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, and Kris Jenner. “Tyler gave them extraordinary support when they arrived. Oprah gave them a global platform. Harry and Meghan genuinely believed they had built an American family,” they said.
Meanwhile, the source claimed that the big names allegedly couldn’t find a “free night” for the Sussexes. “They wanted to leave California surrounded by friends. Instead, they simply left.”
