Meghan Markle Brutally Savaged for Having ‘Royal Expectations’ With UK Home — Report

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s house hunt in the UK apparently comes with a long list of high-end demands. The reported demands have led to backlash from royal experts. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Britain on August 26, 2026.

This time, they are reportedly staying for an extended period. Their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are also preparing to start school in England soon. Their permanent residence has not yet been finalized. However, reports suggest that they have a long list of “royal expectations” for their new UK home.

Meghan Markle slammed by royal expert for having lavish demands with UK home

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield slammed Meghan Markle over her reportedly lavish demands for a home in the UK. The commentator was joined by Fox News co-host Ainsley Earhardt on Fox & Friends. During the segment, they discussed the Sussexes’ reported demands for a home in the UK.

After their marriage, Markle and Harry lived in Nottingham Cottage and Frogmore Cottage before moving to Montecito, California. Earhardt recalled Markle referring to her UK home as a “small cottage,” a description she gave during their docuseries, “Harry & Meghan.” She added that now that the Sussexes are back in the UK, their demands reportedly include “nine bedrooms, a film studio, and lots of private land.”

She further asked Schofield about the couple living in the Cotswolds and why they would choose that area. The expert said that the move is “very chic,” adding that their neighbors in the area would include Ellen DeGeneres, Liam Gallagher, and David Beckham.

Schofield also took a jab at Markle, pointing out that she was the one who previously described royal life as “oppressive.” She said it was ironic that Markle now appears to have “very royal expectations when it comes to real estate.” The expert highlighted the contradictions in her stance.

She further questioned why the couple would need six guest rooms, joking about who they would even invite, given their alleged falling-out with several people. Taking another swipe at the Duchess, Schofield concluded, “Meghan isn’t looking for a home; she is looking for a production facility with a moat.”
