Andy Cohen on Monica Garcia’s Future With The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

Whether you were disgusted with or absolutely here for Monica Garcia’s lies and master manipulation during her freshman season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, we can all probably agree that it’s hard to imagine the rest of the cast ever wanting to move forward with Monica’s brand of drama.

But, stranger things have happened, and reality TV is a unique beast. Will Monica be back for another season of RHOSLC? Andy Cohen says that the answer will soon become clearer.

Andy says we’ll soon have more insight into Monica’s RHOSLC future

For those not caught up, Heather Gay gathered “receipts, proof, timelines, screenshots! F*cking everything to prove that [Monica is] a f*cking bully and a f*cking troll,” known as Reality Von Tease, a Real Housewives gossip account. It’s worth noting that Monica claims she wasn’t the only person behind the account.

RVT had posted insider secrets about RHOSLC cast members (mostly Jen Shah) anonymously on Instagram over multiple seasons. This revelation sparked a heated altercation, with several cast members expressing their unwillingness to work with Monica again.

Andy recently talked to ET about Monica’s precarious future on the show. According to him, we’ll likely know if her RHOSLC bridges are burned beyond salvage at the conclusion of Part 3 of the Season 4 reunion.

Andy explained, “I think the question is how will Monica, or will Monica, find her way back into this group?”

He emphasized that Part 3 delves into “Reality Von Tease and the black eye,” suggesting that by the end of the reunion, viewers will gain insights into the direction the show might take in the next season.

He also made comparisons between the black eye debacle and Monica’s unmasking.

“There were a lot of people who were kind of innocent bystanders in this whole thing,” Andy commented on the Monica revelation and the never-ending black eye drama. “[They] were kind of thrown into under the microscope. So I’m happy also that we can just move past it.”

However this all ends up, the shipwreck reunion backdrop – while tacky and hideous – is a perfect metaphor for this whole ordeal.

The RHOSLC Season 4 reunion concludes Tuesday, January 23, at 8/7c on Bravo.
