We just got our first look at The Real Housewives of Rhode Island Season 1 reunion, and you’re probably going to need more than a cracker to get you through this chaos.
In the sneak peek, Andy Cohen is fully calling out Rulla Nehme Pontarelli’s husband, Brian Pontarelli. From the mistress allegations to the domestic violence charge looming over the season, he’s got a lot to own up to, and he isn’t the only person facing some tough questions in the hot seat.
The RHORI reunion is “painful” for a lot of cast members
In the preview for the two-part Season 1 RHORI reunion, the rookie Housewives show up dressed in shades of blue and waste no time diving back into the drama. Naturally, within the first 10 seconds, we hear Alicia Carmody talking about a cracker.
Although Rulla’s on-screen presence felt somewhat limited throughout the season, she and her hubby have plenty to discuss at this reunion. At one point, Jo-Ellen Tiberi accuses Rulla of becoming pregnant while Brian was still legally married to someone else. It’s an absolute mess.
“You’re a psycho,” Rulla tells Jo-Ellen.
“I know,” Jo-Ellen replies with a smile.
Once Brian and the husbands join the women on stage, Andy immediately starts asking the questions we’re all dying to hear. If they bring out a chair for the alleged mistress, we wouldn’t be mad.
“Brian, you’ve come back from an arrest and a restraining order,” Andy bluntly says.
The conversation eventually shifts back to Rulla and whether she truly trusts her husband after everything that has happened.
“Rulla, I feel that you’re still not over this. Do you trust him?” Andy asks.
“There’s no forgiveness,” she replies. “It’s painful every day.”
As if that’s not enough drama for a Season 1 reunion, we’ve also got a lot to unpack between Kelsey Swanson and Rosie DiMare. Their “slam pig” fight became one of the most talked-about moments of the season, and Kelsey appears ready to defend herself from Rosie’s accusations.
“I’ve never sold any of my holes for money,” she proudly declares.
And naturally, this trailer wouldn’t be complete without Ashley Iaconetti threatening to shed a few tears. Between the crying, the accusations, and the toxic relationship drama, we’re surprised this reunion isn’t a three-parter.
The Real Housewives of Rhode Island reunion kicks off on June 21 at 9/8c. The extended and uncensored version streams the next day on Peacock.
