On The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, the Housewives #TikTok stars are a splintered group.
#MomTok was supposed to be a sisterhood of Mormon women supporting each other amid the patriarchy of the LDS Church. But lately, the once cohesive group finds itself broken into warring factions.
Streaming Season 2 actually felt like watching Mean Girls. Cliques have formed and excluded both Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck, who is in the depths of prenatal depression. Where’s the support, girls?

ET sat down to discuss some of the events coming up in Season 2.
At Demi Engemann’s Halloween party, Demi provoked a fight that brought the police to her and Bret’s home. When Miranda McWhorter’s ex, Chase, was looking for Bret, he innocently tapped Demi on the hip. After saying Bret was “upstairs,” she snapped, “Don’t touch me again.”
Though the tap looked harmless to me, Demi admitted in a confessional, “I just [saw] red.” Running upstairs, she told Bret, “[Chase] just laid his hands on me.”
But of course, Bret responded, “What the hell?” and immediately took off at a run. That’s when Demi realized, “I just woke up a monster … Chase is going to die on the front lawn.”
Bret and Chase nearly got into a fist fight before Chase convinced Bret that he had meant no harm and agreed to apologize.
Later in the evening, Bret and Jessi Ngatikaura’s husband Jordan performed a Chippendales-style dance for Jen in front of her husband Zac. The dance was meant to take lighthearted aim at an incident from Season 1. When his wife planned to go see the Chippendales on a girls’ trip to Vegas, Zac went off on a rage-texting rant that ended with a separation.
Even though the couple had made up, apparently it was just too soon. Zac didn’t take it well, and they left the party early. The other girls were confused, since Jen knew about the dance ahead of time.
Near the interview’s end, Denny asked, “Just for clarity, raise your hand if you’re beefing with someone in this group.” Five of the seven women raised their hands.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is now streaming on Hulu.
