Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars is on the horizon! Of course, last season’s Mirrorball champs, Bachelor star Joey Graziadei and his partner, Jenna Johnson, dazzled in the ballroom. Will Season 34 of DWTS live up to the hype? And why do some fans believe that DWTS is rigged?
Is Dancing with the Stars fixed?

A new cast of hopefuls will be twirling around the ballroom, aiming to follow in Joey’s Mirrorball footsteps. So far, we know that conservationist Robert Irwin will hit the ballroom for Season 34. As you may recall, his sister, Bindi Irwin, won Season 21 of DWTS.
Plus, influencer Alix Earle will also compete on the upcoming season. She promised to give fans all the DWTS backstage drama. “So I’m excited to see it in real life and be able to share it. I’ll be the inside scoop,” Alix stated.
Meanwhile, rumors started circulating that DWTS is fixed. And executive producer Ryan Dowd is clearing the air. “We take that very seriously. We have never, nor would we ever, do anything to manipulate the votes,” Ryan told Deadline. “The show really needs to be credible.”
He added, “It needs to allow the viewers to have a voice and to really be the voice of who deserves to win. So we have never nor would we ever want to manipulate that in any way.”
Then Ryan addressed former competitors who have spoken negatively about their DWTS experience. “I take comfort in the fact that there are going to be outliers with anything in life,” Ryan explained. “When you look at the sheer volume of celebrities that we’ve booked on the show, 99.9% have actually come out to speak unbelievably positively about their experience.”
The rest of the Season 34 cast will be revealed at a later date.
Dancing with the Stars Season 34 is expected to premiere sometime in fall 2025.
