Corinne Olympios from The Bachelor opened up about the flirty nature of her relationship with Johnny “Bananas” Devenanzio. The two met while filming House of Villains and immediately hit it off. Now she’s explaining what happened between them.
Most fans remember Corinne from her infamous Bachelor run with Nick Viall. She did not get along well with the other ladies. And her more aggressive nature labeled her a villain early on. Which is why she was a perfect fit for the House of Villains roster.
Corinne Olympios was “flirting” with Johnny Bananas
Corinne has always felt slightly misunderstood. She appeared recently on the Almost Famous podcast and talked about her past and her relationship with Johnny Bananas during her time on House of Villains with hosts Ashley Laconetti and Ben Higgins.
“So, I’ll tell you everything right now,” Corinne said. “I was single. I meet Johnny Bananas. We’re flirting the whole time,” she disclosed.
According to Corinne, he didn’t want to kiss on camera. “Little did I know that was because of Moriah (Jadea),” she explained. “And she was apparently freaking out that I was there because he knew that she knew that he and I would hit it off.”
She added, “Him and I just had this like cat and mouse game going the whole time and we started casually seeing each other after the show. Then we were just friends.”
So, yes, it looks like they did have something going although it didn’t last. Corinne admitted that she didn’t really have a good dating track record, her Bachelor time notwithstanding. She shared that most men she dates come on really strong and tell her they’ll marry her. They move in together, and then “it just kind of falls apart.”
But it looks like she might have found a good one. She’s been dating her current boyfriend David for the past two years.
“He’s honestly really, really great,” she shared.
As for Johnny Bananas, he is reportedly single following his split from Morgan Willet in 2021.
