Welcome to The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 Episode 5 recap. Last time, newbie Stephanie stepped on Alexia’s toes. Meanwhile, Adriana hosted a baby shower for Julia and her wife, Martina Navratilova. Here’s what happened in RHOM Season 7 Episode 5: “Miami Goddesses.”
What happened in Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 Episode 5?
Stephanie explained why she is estranged from her sisters. Alexia planned a Greek-themed party with a self-help expert who specializes in narcissism. And Julia and Guerdy decided to move forward, while Stephanie slammed Lisa for her chronic tardiness.
Alexia meets with a self-help expert on The Real Housewives of Miami
Alexia met with Daniel, a self-help expert. She found him on Instagram, and his specialty is narcissism. Alexia is questioning why she ignored red flags with her estranged husband, Todd Nepola. Plus, Alexia wants Daniel to share his knowledge with her RHOM co-stars. So, Alexia is throwing a “Greek-themed Narcissistic party.” Damn! I wanted that theme for my next get-together. And Alexia is hoping that Daniel will point out the narcissists in the group.
Meanwhile, Stephanie met up with Larsa and Kiki at Shoma Bazaar, a restaurant which is Stephanie’s “baby.” Plus, Stephanie is a BOSS, and she is the President of Shoma Group. Stephanie said in her confessional that she wanted to make it “to the top-top-tippity-top.”
So, Kiki shared how she is rebuilding her relationship with her father. Stephanie can relate because her twin sisters had a job with Shoma, and when it ended badly, Stephanie and her sisters stopped speaking.
“I’m a really giving person,” Stephanie told her RHOM co-stars. “I gave them a Range Rover and I gave one like a Mini-Cooper, and it’s like, they were like, ‘Are you ashamed of what, you know…’” I was like, ‘Why are we turning it into this?’”
In her confessional, Stephanie admitted, “I have called, texted, emailed, sent gifts, taken one of their dogs, but I don’t know if it’s something that can be fixed.” Meanwhile, Stephanie clocked Lisa from the jump as just being interested in what she has, not who she is as a person. And Stephanie was instantly turned off.
Meet RHOM Season 7’s Newest Power Couple
So, after the hurricane just skirted Miami, Stephanie and her husband, Masoud Shojaee, visited Shom Village, one of their properties. They spoke with a leasing agent, who mentioned how two puppies were abandoned there during the hurricane. Masoud insisted that they be taken to the vet, and they were put in an unfurnished unit.
While Stephanie wanted to walk through two units, Masoud and the leasing agent disagreed. When Stephanie went to the other unit, the two dogs were there. However, it was a furnished unit, and one of the dogs had pooped and peed on the bed, causing Stephanie to have a meltdown.
“Masoud and I are 100% a power couple. People are like, ‘Oh, how do you balance your love and love relationship and your work relationship?’” Stephanie said in her confessional. “There’s no balance. We try not to bring the work to the personal, but it does come.”
Later, Stephanie shared with Masoud that her sisters texted her during the hurricane. However, when Stephanie responded the next day, they ghosted her again. That is a big disappointment for our RHOM newbie.
Guerdy asks Alexia about the friend group’s vibe on RHOM
When Alexia and Guerdy met up, Guerdy recapped her trip to New York, where she rang the New York Stock Exchange Bell with the American Cancer Society. Guerdy confessed, “I feel like with the group right now, I feel like so misunderstood, and I don’t understand.”
She texted the group about the NYSE and received crickets. When Guerdy said that no one responds to her texts or posts, Alexia replied, “But that’s all in your mind.” Then Guerdy responded, “My opinion is my opinion …” Alexia interrupted, saying, “When you’re talking like that, you kind of like turn people off.” However, Guerdy wasn’t raising her voice.
The party planner stated that the friend group can’t have “different rules for different people.” In her confessional, Alexia explained, “This is exactly why people have issues with Guerdy – because she gets so defensive that you can’t even tell her anything.” However, for the sake of the group, Alexia thinks that Guerdy and Julia need to chat. Hopefully, in a beverage-free zone this time.
The sit-down between Guerdy and Julia in The Real Housewives of Miami
Guerdy and Julia met at a restaurant. It was AWKWARD! Julia started with an apology. “I don’t know how we got to what happened that night, but somehow we did. And my emotions got the worse out of me,” Julia stated. “But I’m very sorry for throwing the water at you. You know, I have no excuse for it.” She added, “And, umm, I hope you can accept my apology.”
Guerdy responded, “I’m literally completely blindsided and feel back-stabbed.” However, Julia felt blindsided by Guerdy dropping the facelift details to the RHOM cast. “Guerdy, I shared with you something very private about my facelift, and you shared it with everyone I know,” Julia said. “So, what kind of friend are you?”
Guerdy replied, “I felt betrayed as well, so you have to understand that my reply was matching what I was getting from you.” Then Julia asked if Guerdy felt “even slightly remorseful” about how Guerdy implied that Julia “was a bad wife to Martina.”
Of course, Guerdy denied it. “Sorry for those words that I’ve used and for literally just being unhinged,” she said. Finally, Julia admitted that she would like them to move forward. For Guerdy, “the hurt is so deep” that one discussion isn’t enough to trust Julia again. According to Guerdy, it will take “baby steps.”
Who causes a Greek tragedy on The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7?
The ladies all arrived at a Sprinter, waiting to go to the Greek party. In the end, they were waiting for Lisa, and everyone was miffed. While Alexia and Daniel were at the venue at 1 p.m., the ladies were waiting on the bus for an hour and a half. Stephanie’s other pet peeve, besides people being late, is talking about penises. As Kiki observed, this woman is in the wrong group. Finally, Lisa boarded the bus at 2:30 p.m.
When Lisa entered, everyone was silent. Then Stephanie went in. “Lisa, do you think our time is more important than all of ours? Or do you think that you’re, like, more valuable?” she asked. “Did you think of how rude it is to make everybody wait?” WOW.
“I don’t even know you that well for you to be speaking to me like that,” Lisa replied. “I know enough about you that you just made us wait two hours waiting on you,” Stephanie fired back. “It’s very rude.”
Then Lisa slammed Stephanie for not having many friends. “Because a lot of them are like you. Disrespectful. And they’re two hours late,” Stephanie stated. She never raised her voice, but her tone was cutting.
Meanwhile, Larsa was silently thrilled that Stephanie went on the attack. While Lisa told Stephanie that she doesn’t need to speak for her friends, Stephanie remained unbothered. Eventually, Stephanie stated that while her comments may have come off “really rude,” it was because lateness is her biggest pet peeve.
“Don’t lecture me, “Lisa said as Stephanie attempted to apologize. Then, Lisa claimed it wasn’t “a real apology.” Stephanie quipped, “Do you want an apology or do you not want an apology? Either you take what I give you or you don’t take it.”
