Keke Palmer surprised fans as she debuted her new haircut on social media. Previously, she had long hair, but it seems a special occasion led her to go for a hair transformation. After sharing a few pictures of her new haircut, fans quickly took to her comment section to shower compliments on her new look.

Palmer recently took to Instagram to share a series of selfies of her fresh haircut and stylish outfit. In the images, she could be seen with a ginger pixie cut. She also sported a Beyoncé-themed crop top, where the “Diva” singer appears as Foxy Cleopatra from Austin Powers in Goldmember. She complemented the look with low-rise jeans, a fur coat, and a sling bag.
In addition, she wore nude makeup. She further mentioned that her new haircut is for a special occasion, her birthday, which falls on August 26, 2025. She will then be 32 years old. Reminding everyone of her birthday, she captioned the image, “My birthday is just around the corner…” Her caption was followed by a pink heart emoji and her zodiac sign, Virgo.
Many took to her comment section to praise her new look. One wrote, “Giving 90s Baddie!!!!.” Another commented on her haircut, giving out Virgo energy, “It’s giving Virgo szn tings!” Others called her new look “coolest” and “fine.”
In an old interview with Elle, Palmer shared her struggles with her natural hair. She said, “When I was younger, I was very fond of my hair. It just reached a certain point where I started to feel like I didn’t know my hair as well as I had used to. I didn’t feel even as comfortable with my natural hair. That’s when I started to feel like, okay, there was something that I needed to do. I needed to reconnect myself to my hair.” She eventually went bald and restarted her haircare journey. She worked to understand more about her hair and the natural products that would help her achieve healthy hair.
