Taylor Swift‘s new album announcement might have gone viral among her fans, but it hasn’t impressed Donald Trump. Insiders exclusively told Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop that the president is “jealous” as the singer’s upcoming work, “The Life of a Showgirl,” takes over mainstream news channels and becomes a viral sensation. According to an insider, Trump is unable to avoid the chatter around Swift’s album, given its global dominance.
Donald Trump can’t stand the fact that Taylor Swift is on every channel, says source
Taylor Swift’s upcoming album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” is already making waves even before its release on October 3. Since the singer’s album announcement on the “New Heights” podcast last week, Swifties, as well as major news outlets, have participated in making the news go viral. According to Rob Shuter’s exclusive report, Swift’s success has driven Donald Trump to a breaking point.
Insiders told the outlet that the president cannot stand the fact that Swift is the topic of conversation on every other channel. According to sources, Trump is “pea green with envy” as the pop star’s album dominates headlines. An aide further revealed that he is “furious” that news channels like CNN, ABC, CBS, and Fox, among others, are all about the singer and her upcoming piece of work.
A source claimed that Trump’s team is doing everything they can to keep him calm and away from anything remotely related to Swift’s album. These include newspapers, TV, or even staff gossip. The insider said, “We’re literally changing the channel every time her name comes up. But it’s impossible — she’s everywhere right now.”
As per Shuter’s report, Swift’s dominance has been a bitter pill to swallow for Trump. A political strategist contributed their thoughts to the whole saga and explained that the president is “jealous of how she controls the spotlight.” They added, “She sneezes and it’s global news. He rants for an hour and maybe gets a mention.”
This isn’t the first time Trump has directed any form of attention towards Swift. Previously, he has expressed his controversial views on the singer on his Truth Social posts. Most recently, he compared Swift to Sydney Sweeney over the latter’s American Eagle ad campaign. He even claimed that the “Cruel Summer” singer is “no longer hot.” Insiders told Shuter that it’s only time before Trump talks about Swift again.
