David Beador Dismisses Divorce Against Wife Lesley After Abuse Accusations

Once again, Shannon Beador’s ex-husband, David Beador, has backed out of his divorce with his wife, Lesley Beador. At this point, we’re losing count of how many times this has happened. It’s basically an annual occurrence, but we’ve got the details on the most recent dismissal.

Earlier this summer, David filed for divorce from Lesley and asked the court for a restraining order. He detailed a massive blow-up between the two that resulted in her “gouging large chunks of skin” out of his arm. In the restraining order, Lesley was ordered to stay 100 yards away, with the only exception being custody exchanges with their 4-year-old daughter.

Weeks after filing for a restraining order, the two were spotted out together as if nothing had happened. Shortly after that sighting, the Real Housewives of Orange County alum dropped the restraining order, and according to court documents revealed by Us Weekly, he also dropped the divorce.

On August 14, David asked the court to dismiss the divorce case, and a judge signed off on it. The “irreconcilable differences” were reconcilable after all.

It’s a surprising turn of events, considering how much David dragged Lesley in his divorce papers. In addition to the abuse claims, David’s original divorce filing accused Lesley of being a gold digger. He said she basically told him that she married him for his wealth.

David wrote, “I have always been concerned that Lesley’s relationship with me has been primarily based upon her desire to live a luxurious standard of living. In our case [it’s] not just a cliché that Lesley married me for my money. In our case, it is a fact, she has made that very clear to me literally.”

There’s no word on what changed between June and August that caused David to drop the divorce. Perhaps they’re living happily ever after, or maybe they’ll be back in divorce court in 2026. You never know with these two.

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs on Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. Stream it the next day on Peacock or Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
