Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards Enjoy Red Carpet Reunion

Time can heal all wounds, and that is the case for a former Hollywood couple. Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards were married in 2002, less than a year after they began dating. In November 2006, the two split up officially due to Charlie’s drug and alcohol issues and reported threats of violence from the Spin City actor.

Nearly 20 years after their divorce, the two were on the red carpet together in Los Angeles for the premiere of Charlie’s documentary, aka Charlie Sheen. The two-part doc details the career of the Two and a Half Men star and his journey to sobriety. Denise is among the many people who are interviewed in the series.

Also featured were Charlie’s third wife, Brooke Mueller, his Two and a Half Men co-star, Jon Cryer, the show’s producer, Chuck Lorre and even Charlie’s former drug dealer, Marco.

Their marriage may have gone south quickly, but nowadays there’s much more harmony between Denise and Charlie. The exes recently reunited with their two daughters, Lola and Sami, for dinner, according to People.

“You know what’s so funny?” Lola told her parents. “I could never picture you guys being married. Like, sometimes I think about if you were still married and we all lived in the same house.”

“We would have had fun!” Denise jokingly said before tapping Charlie on the shoulder. “I’m so glad we all had dinner. We should do it more often,” Denise added. “People would think we’re f*cking nuts saying that,” she concluded.

The pair first met on the set of Good Advice, a 2001 romantic comedy. Charlie plays an arrogant broker who has a Playboy lifestyle in New York City. Denise is his conceited girlfriend in the movie, which had a 33% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

aka Charlie Sheen came out on Netflix on September 4. His new memoir, The Book of Sheen, is scheduled for release on September 9.
