The upcoming season will be a reality crossover, as Taylor is one of the leading stars of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. While some viewers are excited to watch Taylor, others have expressed their disappointment.

It would’ve been nice to see a familiar Bachelor Nation face earn the role, rather than someone from a different franchise.
Taylor is a somewhat controversial lead
Apart from not being a member of Bachelor Nation, Taylor is also quite controversial. On The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Taylor opened up about being involved in a swinging scandal. This is controversial, as it involved Taylor being sexual with other men while in a relationship. Some of the men were husbands of her friends, making it an even more complicated situation.
Taylor also documented her tumultuous relationship with Dakota Mortenson on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. After a fight with Dakota, Taylor was arrested on domestic violence charges. She later pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. This is a pretty serious charge, and it’s a controversial decision to cast a lead with a domestic violence accusation.

Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck are both competing on Dancing with the Stars Season 34. This is a lot of representation for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives in a short period of time. It feels like the franchise is really being pushed on reality television fans, although not everyone is a fan of it.
