Actress Danielle Fishel Reveals Secrets To Staying Healthy While Preparing for DWTS

Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars premiere was a strong start to the season. The entertaining contestants, most of which are brand-new to dancing, truly gave it their all on the dance floor. Among the celebrities in the competition is Boy Meets World actress Danielle Fishel.

In her debut performance with pro partner Pasha Pashkov, they scored a 12 out of 20. This is only the beginning for the duo, as no one was sent home last night. Yet, with only one dance down, Danielle is already feeling it take a toll on her body.

Ahead of the premiere, Danielle came clean on her physical health throughout rehearsals. And while the training is taking a toll, she is determined to see it through.

“I have to stretch every single morning. I’m trying to stay hydrated because it is very hot and we are sweating a lot, so I’m trying to stay hydrated,” she told PEOPLE.

The beloved actress further reassured fans that handling her aches and pains are a priority.

“I’m also trying to do some cold plunges when I can. My muscles are very sore right now, so I’m trying to take care of them as best I can.”

Danielle is sharing the exact same sentiments as her fellow DWTS co-stars. Actress Elaine Hendrix said she was also experiencing soreness from the constant rehearsals. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jen Affleck even admitted that she has gotten blisters and bruises. Maybe this process is too much for these stars to handle.

Dancing with the Stars Season 34 airs on Tuesdays on ABC and Disney+, with episodes available to stream on Hulu the next day.
