Taylor Frankie Paul Reacts To Former Rival Whitney Leavitt’s Latest DWTS Dance

Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars is on fire, and so is Whitney Leavitt. She and her partner, fan-favorite Mark Ballas, tied for the top spot on the leaderboard for the second week in a row. However, the duo’s spicy cha-cha was next level, and Taylor Frankie Paul noticed.

Whitney and Taylor were friends back in the day and are co-stars on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. So, while Whitney is getting her groove on, Taylor is preparing to hand out roses as the new Bachelorette. These ladies still don’t see eye-to-eye, but Taylor is giving a well-deserved shout-out to Whitney.

For One Hit Wonders Night, Mark and Whitney danced to Wild Cherry’s hit, Play That Funky Music. Their sexy cha-cha earned 22 points out of 30, tying with conservationist Robert Irwin and his partner, Witney Carson, at the top of the leaderboard. Of course, since Whitney has a dance background, some fans feel that she has an unfair advantage. This happens nearly every season, so the controversy is nothing new.

The DWTS Instagram account shared some photos of Whitney and Mark’s sexy performance. “Whitney and Mark’s #OneHitWondersNight Cha Cha had us moving to the grooving #DWTS,” the caption read. Of course, fans shared their opinions in the comments.

“Okay we see you,” Taylor wrote, along with a fire emoji. However, she wasn’t the only cast member from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives to celebrate Whitney. Layla Taylor wrote, “BLOWN AWAY.” And Demi Engemann posted four hearts on fire emojis.

Plus, the Instagram page, Secretlivesonhulu, wrote, “It’s a 10 for us.” And actress Danielle Fishel, Whitney’s DWTS Season 34 co-star, also showed her some love. “Unbelievable. Truly INSANE. So proud of you BOTH!” she commented.

It looks like Whitney and Mark, and Robert and Witney, are the early frontrunners to take home the Mirrorball trophy. We are just at the start of the competition, but both of these duos are lighting up the ballroom.

Dancing with the Stars airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC and Disney+. It will stream on Hulu the next day.
