Welcome to The Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 Episode 17 finale recap. Last time, Lisa’s boyfriend, Jody Glidden, gave her some conditions if she wanted to get engaged. And Adriana confronted Kiki at the Art Basel event for writing her age on her birthday cake. Here’s what happened in RHOM Season 7 Episode 17: “Frosty Friendships.”
What happened in Real Housewives of Miami Season 7 Episode 17?
The ladies had to choose between Marysol’s Christmas party and Alexia’s party at Alexia and Frankie’s Beauty Bar. Julia performed opera for an amazing cause, but was hurt when Adriana didn’t attend. And at Stephanie’s Christmas party, Julia and Adriana’s feud went nuclear while Marysol revealed a secret.
Marysol’s Christmas party revealed a Scrooge
Marysol planned a Christmas gift grab, complete with Santa Claus and festive pajamas for everyone. Unfortunately, Alexia and her bestie failed to communicate, and she is hosting a holiday event at Alexia and Frankie’s Beauty Bar. So, now the Miami ladies will have to pick which event to attend.
Real Housewives of New York alum Jill Zarin was at Marysol’s party, as were Stephanie, Larsa, Adriana, and Guerdy. I will forgive Marysol for wearing a fluffy Christmas tree hat on her head.
And Marysol went all out. There were gifts for the guests, along with IV therapy and facials. However, while at a jewelry table, Guerdy asked that someone remove some charms from the bracelet. “Honey, I gotta go. There’s other kiosks here. I gotta go, I gotta get as much as I can,” Guerdy said. Larsa was horrified and called out Guerdy for complaining.
Meanwhile, Guerdy applauded Adriana for being such a good friend to Julia. “She’s so into herself, and what’s good for her and what she needs, that she doesn’t ever think about me,” Adriana said. “I feel used.”
Everyone was happy and enjoying the holiday vibe. So, Adriana called Kiki “mean-spirited.” She is still salty about Kiki making fun of her age on her birthday. Of course, Stephanie was concerned because her Christmas party was Kiki’s specialty cocktail reveal and Adriana’s concert. Adriana said the event will be “all good vibes.” Good luck with that.
Alexia’s son voices concerns about Todd Nepola in RHOM
At the Beauty Bar, Alexia and her son Frankie Rosello welcomed Kiki, Lisa, and Julia. Meanwhile, Alexia explained how everything was better with her estranged husband, Todd Nepola. However, after he abruptly packed up and left, she is worried that he could do it again. Alexia’s son, Peter Rosello, said, “That’s everyone’s worry. If you do decide to get back with Todd, that’s not fair for Frankie.”
In her confessional, a producer asked Alexia if Todd had apologized to her sons “for the way he left.” Alexia responded, “No.” Yikes.
Meanwhile, Julia welcomed her guests at her opera event. The purpose of the event is not to raise money, but to bring together Florida Grand Opera and foster care for kids. Martina Navratilova, Julia’s wife, was in the house, along with Marysol, Alexia, and Kiki. Since Kiki has a crush on Martina, it was time to get her flirt on. Kiki is a riot!
Meanwhile, Adriana was rehearsing for Stephanie’s Christmas event, so she couldn’t attend. Kiki and Alexia don’t think that Adriana wants to repair her friendship with Julia. If she did, she would have found a way to attend. “I’m not gonna lie. I am hurt because I’ve been at every single performance for Adriana,” Julia admitted in her confessional. “I think Adriana made it very clear tonight how important I am to her, or even the boys, if I may say so.”
Tempers flare at Stephanie’s Christmas party
Shoma Bazaar was transformed into a winter wonderland. Right away, Kiki apologized to Adriana for the cake incident, and Adriana accepted. They were in a peaceful place for 30 minutes. Then, Marysol and Kiki explained how hurt Julia was that Adriana missed her opera event.
“First of all, she never told me she was going to sing. Second of all, she texts me the night before,” Adriana said. She walked away in a flurry of F-bombs.
Finally, it was time for Adriana to take the stage. Stephanie was annoyed because Adriana was late. Of course, Adriana performed her greatest hits, including a song about her dog. “Wow, the mighty has fallen,” Kiki quipped in her confessional.
Then Julia pulled Adriana aside and mentioned that Adriana missed her event. “You want me to let go of my dream to go to your opera thing?” Adriana responded. “You want to compete with me, Julia.” She added that Julia was “fake, mischievous, and a bad friend.”
“Shame on you, Adriana,” Julia calmly responded. “You’re toxic! The mask is off!” Adriana fired back.
Then Julia exclaimed, “Have you checked on my children?” Adriana replied, “Am I their godmother?” In her confessional, Adriana shaded Julia as someone who “doesn’t really know who she is.” She added, “Who gets engaged nine times?”
Then, Adriana told Julia that she was on RHOM because of her. Julia explained in her confessional that in private, Adriana was “guilt-tripping me for things, she was controlling me, she was yelling at me and making me feel smaller than this.” She added, “I’m done.”
Meanwhile, Stephanie announced the launch of the new cocktail at Shoma Bazaar, Kiki’s Kouraj. All proceeds will go to the Haitian Health Foundation. What a proud moment for Kiki and her father, Larest.
Kiki dropped a bombshell
Then, Kiki spilled a secret. Marysol claimed that Adriana did call Kiki “ratchet.” According to Marysol, she told Adriana to say that she called Kiki “wretched.” However, Marysol found out that Adriana was saying shady things about her behind her back. The ladies were stunned into silence, which is no easy feat with this group. “She manipulates sh*t,” Adriana said of Marysol.
“I was just pouring my heart, explaining what I meant, and Marysol goes, ‘Oh, you meant this.’ So, she pulled out the word, and said, ‘You owe me forever,’” Adriana said in her confessional.
“You’re wretched. You’re like old and miserable,” Adriana told Marysol. Why is it fine for Adriana to shade other people for their age?
The updates at the end of the RHOM finale said that Adriana is working on a tour, but is still not talking to Julia. Kiki is prepping to buy her first condo, which is located “in one of Stephanie’s new buildings.”
Meanwhile, Larsa is dating basketball player Jeff Coby, who is predicting that they will tie the knot “by the end of the year.” And Guerdy is continuing to go to therapy and has decided not to have more reconstructive surgery.
Plus, Julia co-starred in Carmen at the Florida Grand Opera. Her daughter Vika met her sons, but Emma hasn’t yet. As for Stephanie? One of her twin sisters is speaking with her again, but the other isn’t.
And Lisa and Jody created an app, SplitWell. However, Jody still hasn’t popped the question. In addition, Marysol and her hubby Steve McNamara are on the lookout for their next wedding destination. “Water will not be served, but cockies sure will be.” And Todd divorced Alexia. They tried to date, but eventually split up.
