Alexis Bellino has retracted her invitation to Jennifer Pedranti. Now, The Real Housewives of Orange County star will not be attending her former co-star’s wedding to John Janssen. And it seems that she will be really missing out.
It all adds to the RHOC drama that plays off camera. Alexis started dating John just before filming Season 18. It caused massive tension between herself and veteran star Shannon Beador. Alexis left the cast after one season, but made some valuable connections along the way. At least that’s what she thought when she initially invited the yoga instructor.
Jenn Pedranti didn’t check in with Alexis Bellino following an “unexpected emergency surgery”
A source told Page Six that Jennifer received a save-the-date earlier this year. But she was excluded from the list of people that got an invitation. The insider claims that it is because Alexis did not feel supported by the RHOC favorite after an emergency medical issue had her undergoing surgery.
“Shortly after the save-the-dates were sent, Alexis underwent an unexpected emergency surgery,” the insider said.
Alexis “reached out” to Jenn at the time. But, “sadly, she never received a response or any check-in.”
The RHOC alum “truly felt a strong bond” and “genuinely wanted to include her in her special day.” However, Jenn’s supposed “lack of support” while Alexis was recovering from her medical issue made her “reevaluate their relationship.”
Additionally, the “intimate” guest list meant that the mother-of-three “had to make some tough decisions about who would be included.” Page Six is reporting that when Alexis “felt a shift” and “sensed some distance” in her friendship with Jenn, she “reached out” to discuss the issue.
“Right now, Alexis is focused on her health, her happiness and the love she’s building with John,” the source explained. Ultimately, it “may not be the right time” for Jenn to be included at the wedding, despite wishing her “nothing but the best.” However, the RHOC alum “remains hopeful that they can reconnect in the future.”
The source continued, “She’s grateful for the people who have shown up for her and is looking forward to celebrating surrounded by those who have been by her side.”
Jennifer responded to Page Six saying, “I respect Alexis’ decision and wish nothing but the best for her and John.”
