The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast is experiencing a shakeup. And now, Gia Giudice is lending her two cents to this matter. Will her mother remain on this cast? Only time will tell, but if it were up to Gia, more OGs would stay on this series.
Following Season 14, Teresa Giudice found herself on the outs with almost everyone. Divided casts are hard to produce, especially when certain players refuse to film scenes together. Even though Teresa has reportedly tried to make amends, her future on this cast still includes a huge question mark. And this is what Gia has to say about that.
Gia Giudice doesn’t think the OG RHONJ cast should be removed entirely
Recently sitting for an interview with Evan Real on Page Six Radio, Gia opened up about the longstanding divisions within her family. Can Teresa move forward with her brother and his wife? Gia’s not sure, but a “happy medium” and “peace for everyone” is possible. After all, Teresa was able to maintain the peace with her father, Joe Giudice, which gives Gia hope that Teresa can soon do the same with everyone else.
But what are her thoughts about new ladies joining RHONJ? “I think it’ll be good,” Gia said. However, Gia does not think it is “smart to fully X out the cast completely.” And here, the conversation turned towards the recently rebooted series, Real Housewives of New York, which is already struggling.
After praising the new ladies on RHONY, Gia admitted that the original cast had many “iconic” personalities. Yet, all of them got cut during the reboot process. For reboots to work, Gia stressed, there needs to be a mix of new characters and old, to help “keep the roots” intact.
