It sounds like Teresa Giudice is taking Real Housewives of New Jersey casting into her own hands. It’s been over a year since the last episode of Season 14 aired, and it’s no coincidence that she’s now trying to make peace with her brother and sister-in-law. However, a new insider report suggests that calling up the Gorgas wasn’t her first choice. Instead, she approached Kathy Wakile, angling to get them both cast on Season 15.
Melissa and Joe Gorga were “last” on Teresa Giudice’s list before attempted reconciliation, claims a RHONJ insider
The latest RHONJ rumor comes from Radar Online. Their previous insider suggested that Bravo had no interest in filming Teresa making up with Joe Gorga. Now, their new source has come forward, alleging that Tre has been pursuing Kathy for a potential comeback.
“While Teresa’s out giving interviews about reuniting with Joe and Melissa Gorga, the truth is she reached out to Kathy Wakile a while before she even tried reaching out to her brother and sister-in-law,” the insider claimed.
Supposedly, Teresa thought that teaming up with Kathy would be a good tactic to entice Bravo in greenlighting Season 15. She thought Kathy would be an ally to go against the Gorgas.
“Teresa figured that if she made up with Kathy and got her on her side, this would give her an angle for RHONJ and, if Joe and Melissa came back, someone to go against them with,” the source said.
According to the insider, Kathy wasn’t interested in Teresa’s proposal. They said that Kathy “stood her ground” and showed “no interest in engaging” with this RHONJ comeback plan. Thus, Teresa started entertaining the idea of making up with Melissa and Joe.
“None of this is coming off as genuine at all and, as much as she’s purported to not be desperate, it truly reeks of someone who is,” the source added.
