Britani Bateman of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has some thoughts on Meredith Marks’ jabs at her and co-star Whitney Rose. It’s no secret that there is simmering tension between the two, but Britani thinks Meredith doesn’t need to stoop so low.
Meredith has made her feelings quite known. Throughout the press cycle for RHOSLC, she has been referring to Britani and Sh*tani 2. This pairs with her nickname for Whitney, which is Sh*tney 1. She obviously has no love for these two. Meanwhile, these nicknames obviously do not sit well with Britani.

Britani joined Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea and shared her thoughts on Meredith’s colorful nicknames. “I think it’s crass and I think it’s beneath her,” Britani said (at the 22:00 mark). “She’s a smart lady. She doesn’t need to stoop that low.”
The two RHOSLC ladies have had beef since Season 5. Meredith accused Britani of secretly recording a heated argument between the cast members during a van ride in Mexico. Britani explained that she never meant to intentionally film the chaos and that it was a misunderstanding.
Unfortunately, this caused a lasting rift between the two. Meredith even accused Britani of planting a bug in her room to spy on her. An accusation that Britani denies as absolutely ridiculous. So it’s definitely not smooth sailing for these two.
To be fair, Britani understands that drama and feuds are the norm of being on a Housewives show. However, she prefers to keep things classy thanks to her Mormon upbringing. “I wasn’t even allowed to say ‘shut up,’” she shared.
So Britani isn’t pleased with Meredith’s taunts. But while she and Meredith remain on the outs, she’s thrilled to be discovering a new closeness with Bronwyn Newport.
“I’m really starting to appreciate Bronwyn,” Britani gushed. “She’s brilliant, she’s beautiful, she’s savvy, and she’s kind.” High praise indeed.
