Source claims Amy Schumer and her husband are committed to their marriage
Contrary to the reports of their marriage on the brink, Amy Schumer and her husband, chef Chris Fischer, are very much together, and it seems they are working to resolve the issues between them. Sources told PEOPLE that the couple is “privately working through normal issues that couples in long-term marriages have,” asserting that “they are both committed to the relationship.”
As per the outlet, the “Trainwreck” star even responded to the speculation surrounding her marriage on her social media account. In the Instagram Story, posted on November 6, she shared a picture of New York City and mentioned in the caption, “And Chris and I are still married.”
The couple got married in early 2018 in Malibu after first being linked in November 2017. They welcomed their son Gene David in May 2019. However, the rumors of their troubled marriage allegedly started doing the rounds when she deleted her previous Instagram pictures and uploaded a picture of herself in a red dress without a wedding ring.
Looking at her move, Schumer’s pal told the Daily Mail that the actor is done with her marriage. “She deleted Chris from Instagram then deleted everything else. She’s going to file soon, but it’s over. Done.” The friend further claimed that the 44-year-old stand-up comedian “got skinny, she is over it. Chris is mostly out of the house at this point. They’ve listed two homes now, in Brooklyn and New Orleans.”
