Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Ray J’s legal battle has seemingly become the latest topic of discussion. After the mother-daughter duo sued the R&B singer for defamation, he filed a lawsuit against them for lying. However, the SKIMS co-founder’s lawyer recently claimed that the “One Wish” singer’s claims were “frivolous.” For those unversed, the case deals with Kardashian and Ray J’s alleged sex tape, which was reportedly leaked in 2007.
Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner lawyer has reportedly hit back at Ray J allegations
Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, has responded to Ray J’s latest allegations. The latter filed a lawsuit against the mother-daughter duo in retaliation for their defamation case against him.
According to TMZ, Spiro predicted that the 44-year-old singer-songwriter would lose the “frivolous case.” The lawyer said, “After realizing he is losing the case and losing his way, this disjointed rambling distraction is not intimidating anyone.”
Last month, reports of Kardashian and Jenner suing Ray J for defamation took over the internet. Reportedly, Ray J claimed that the two socialites would be under federal investigation. Therefore, the duo filed a lawsuit against him for defamation. At the time, attorney Spiro said that the TV presenter-actor was allegedly “unable to accept the end of his fleeting relationship with Ms. Kardashian over 20 years ago.”
Recently, Ray J filed another lawsuit of his own, referring to his and Kardashian’s infamous 2007 sex tape. According to the legal documents, which were first obtained by TMZ, Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend stated that the leak was not against “Kim’s will.” Allegedly, the duo recorded it consensually in 2003 and planned to release it in 2006. Furthermore, the businesswoman’s mother was reportedly “in charge of the release.”
Moreover, the lawsuit also mentioned that Jenner and Kardashian have “spent two decades peddling the false story that the sex tape was leaked against her will.” In the legal documents, Ray J stated that his ex’s family allegedly violated an agreement not to discuss the topic of the tape in public. However, they reportedly discussed it on the show “The Kardashians.”
