Real Housewives of Orange County star Emily Simpson has really gone through the wringer this season. Her friendship with Gina Kirschenheiter has been on the rocks, and she’s had to deal with petty BS from mean girls Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador. On top of that, her marriage has been on full meltdown mode.
Emily’s husband, Shane Simpson, has not been present for her or the kids. He left his family for an extended period of time to study for the bar exam. Not only did he not pass, but he admitted he didn’t miss his family. Then he didn’t show up to watch Emily perform on stage at a Vegas show for their own anniversary. Sounds like husband of the year material to me! So where are he and Emily at now?
Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter has been having a rough season so far. Last year she fronted that her divorce with Matt Kirschenheiter was more than amicable, and that they were still best friends. Most people found that hard to believe, and rightly so. If everything was so great, why get a divorce?
This season, Gina finally opened up and admitted all wasn’t as it seemed. The truth was her husband had an affair and left her for the other woman. Needless to say, Gina has let the floodgates open and emotions have been running hot. So it probably wasn’t the best idea for Kelly Dodd to use an unsuspecting Gina to reenact bonking Shannon Beador on the head.
Fall season is in full swing! And that means an abundance of everything pumpkin flavored, and we are that much closer to watching the newest season of Vanderpump Rules. Luckily, some of the drama has already been on social media. Time to spill the
tea pumpkin spice latte.
First, Stassi Schroeder didn’t invite Kristen Doute to her engagement party. Who was there to cause drunken mayhem then? Jax Taylor blocked most of the cast on social media. He also hasn’t taken kindly to the newest
threats to his job security peeps to join the cast. Scheana Marie has been having fun dating other reality TV stars who may or may not be able to hang a TV in under seven minutes. And there is another bit of Scheana news, in that she may have a potential new ally on the show.
Christmas has officially moved to the month of October because we have been given the gift of Temptation Island season two! And yes, this is the same show that originally aired in the early 2000s, and was rebooted last year.
Last season had incredible drama and was a true rollercoaster ride for all of the couples involved. One relationship in particular, Kaci Campbell and Evan Smith, was doomed as soon as they arrived on the island. Kaci kept her dates friendly and fun, and Evan immediately fell in love with another woman, which he left Kaci for in a heartbreaking moment at the end of the show. So how can they top that this year?
Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent has made a lot of headlines lately. Her feud with rapper 50 Cent heated back up, by her own doing, and it doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. We all know it ain’t over till Fofty says it’s over. Lala also made news for staying sober for over six months. Kudos to her for that.
Meanwhile, her former best friend, James Kennedy, has also been in the news for his recent success in staying sober. Scheana Marie even took a break from taking selfies to comment she noticed a positive change in James. So now that Lala and James are both on the right track, does this mean they can salvage their friendship as well?
Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Marie has been living her best life. She recently dumped dead weight Adam Spott after she learned he had a girlfriend. Better late than never! Scheana likes her men with a reality TV pedigree. Just ask her possible new flame DeMario Jackson, or past flings Robby Hayes and Carl Radke.
Scheana has been having fun and that’s all that matters. And it’s refreshing to watch compared to the rest of the Pump Rules crew who are all in “committed” relationships. Ahem, Jax Taylor. Speaking of committed, one of Scheana’s buddies, James Kennedy, is apparently now committed in his relationship and sobriety. And Scheana has all the details.
Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
HBIC star Lisa Vanderpump had a tough year. She endured “Operation Take Down LVP” aka #puppygate last season. On top of that, she suffered two losses. First her brother passed away, and then her mother passed shortly after that. All of that culminated in Lisa’s decision to leave the show.
But since then, Lisa has been on the up and up. She opened her new Vegas restaurant, Vanderpump Cocktail Garden. Please have a show in the works for that place! She also might open a spot in Miami. Of course, she still has Vanderpump Rules. And the VPR cast couldn’t be happier for Lisa since she left RHOBH. In particular, the number one guy in the group, Jax Taylor.
One of the things I like about the Bravo network is they aren’t afraid to take chances on airing new and different material. Not every show has to be about housewives gossiping behind other’s backs and then denying it. Ahem, like a certain train rumor from Real Housewives of Orange County’s Vicki Gunvalson…or was it Tamra Judge? Or Shannon Beador? The mystery continues…
A few years ago, Bravo decided to take the leap into scripted TV series with shows like Odd Mom Out, Imposters, and Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce. All very good shows, which unfortunately ended up cancelled. Bravo even produced a drama, Dirty John, which got Connie Britton an Emmy nomination. Now they are going back to their reality TV roots and are debuting a new show with a very different twist.
