While Vicki Gunvalson (probably) cried over losing her orange, Real Housewives of New Jersey OG Teresa Giudice feels very differently about being a reality TV star. Recently, the RHONJ cast member admitted that she has “never enjoyed” filming the show.
That’s hard to believe considering that she supports her four daughters filming this show. However, she has really gone through it. She argued with her brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga for many seasons. Teresa denied legal problems for many years before landing in jail herself. Now, she’s waiting to see if her estranged husband Joe Giudice gets deported to Italy. She sure hasn’t had the easiest time, but overall, the show has done a lot for her.
The show may be called Real Housewives of New York, but none of the cast members are actually wives. Sure, they all have been at some point, but not anymore. It should actually be titled The Real Ex-Wives Of New York.
While that may be a more applicable label, Sonja Morgan is pretty sure that marriage is on the horizon for one of her co-stars. She believes that Bethenny Frankel will be the next RHONY cast member to get married. Sorry, Tinsley Mortimer. Bethenny has been in a happy, stable relationship with Paul Bernon for a hot minute now. It is a far cry from her previous relationships with Dennis Shields and ex-husband Jason Hoppy. That’s for sure!
Sonja Morgan has never been shy in regard to…. well, anything. Or at least that’s what we’ve witnessed watching Real Housewives of New York. She may embellish
often here and there when it comes to her partying stories, but when it comes to her appearance, she lets it all hang out.
RHONY viewers have witnessed Sonja get a vaginal rejuvination. She went in for coolsculpting with Dorinda Medley. We’ve seen her get facials. Sonja is all about bringing us behind the curtain when it comes to her personal maintence, but she actually does have one regret.
Even though Real Housewives of New York Season 11 just ended, there are already casting rumors about next season. Of course, there have been plenty of “inside sources” with claims that pretty much all of the existing cast members are on the chopping block. Then there are other outsiders who, let’s be honest, probably planted “rumors” that they are “in talks” to be on RHONY to build up some buzz and land a spot on the show.
Recently, rumors started swirling that Wendy Williams would be a part of the cast. As perfect as RHONY is, it could be so interesting to have Wendy in the mix. She says it like she means it. She’s newly single and going out on the town. And she does actually live in New York. Cough cough, Tinsley Mortimer. She could even add some (much-needed) diversity to the cast. Basically, would be a lot of good things to come of this. However, it’s not happening.
I feel like I stayed longer at Real Housewives of New York cast events than Ramona Singer did this past season. She always left early to go on a date. Is it in the cast contracts to stay at events for a minimal amount of time? It really seemed like Ramona stayed as long as she “had” to before peacing out immediately.
Weirdly, most of her dates aren’t even filmed, yet we always hear about how she’s going on so many. Sometimes, I think she just says she’s going on dates so she can sneak back home to hang out with her dog CoCo. She only has one year left to live, you guys. Or at least that’s what Ramona has been saying…based on nothing at all, which (weirdly) makes me laugh every time she mentions it.
There’s just something so special about Real Housewives from different shows coming together no matter what the reason is. Whether it’s a joint appearance on Watch What Happens Live, an Instagram photo together, or some other event, it’s just always fun to see Real Housewives interacting.
Recently, Melissa Gorga, Sonja Morgan, and Porsha Williams collaborated on a song about something they know well: gettting work done. They even filmed a music video for the track, which included funny appearances from Dorinda Medley and Tamra Judge.
Tinsley Mortimer admits to feeling like the “kid sister” on the Real Housewives of New York. Tinsley’s age can’t be solely to blame though, she just really needs guidance on a regular basis. Any life decisions, monumental plans, or changes reduce Tinsley to a stuttering, deflecting mess. The only thing Tinsley seems to continuously have in place are her eyelashes.
And while the rest of the cast can’t seem to make sense of her plans for the future, everyone knows about Tinsley’s past. In true Sonja Morgan style, Tinsley seems to be stuck in the shadow of her ex-husband’s name. She has a hard time talking about her future without dredging up her past marriage to Topper Mortimer.
No one can deny that Season 11 of Real Housewives of New York has centered around Luann de Lesseps. She is still dealing with the aftershocks of her December 2017 arrest in Palm Beach, Florida. Luann was arrested for resisting arrest with violence, battery on an officer, and disorderly intoxication.
Luann violated her probation by drinking, and ultimately obtained a new plea deal in May. This deal comes with some extra restrictions. Apparently, having a busy cabaret schedule isn’t an excuse for blowing off probation. Luann landed in rehab for a second time.
