We all know that Monique Samuels will not be on Real Housewives of Potomac when the show returns for Season 6. It’s been rumored that she’s been replaced by Mia Thornton, but it’s unclear if Mia is a full-time Housewife or a part-time cast member.
We also don’t know if there are any other new additions to the cast, but there is some potentially explosive gossip circulating.
Yesterday, Ashley Darby posted, “It’s really hitting me – these are the last moments of [son] Dean being my only baby. While I’m beyond words excited for our growing family, I have to give space and acknowledgement for the journey Dean and I have been on thus far. He’s a magical little human and I count my lucky stars every single day that I get to be his mother.”
In another post, the pregnant reality star gushed, “To say I’m on Cloud 9 would be an understatement of epic proportions.” Early this morning, the Real Housewives of Potomac star posted “go time” to her Instagram Story.
Real Housewives of Potomac viewers still don’t know for sure what was real and what was fake in Gizelle Bryant’s revived relationship with her
cheating ex-husband Jamal Bryant.
However, that hasn’t stopped her from criticizing the way Real Housewives from other shows pick and choose what they show from their own relationships. Pot, meet kettle.
How is everyone doing? Are you all recovered from the Real Housewives of Potomac calamity yet? For anyone who isn’t keeping up with arguably one of the best modern day franchises, this latest season was a stunner. Following some bad behavior (but nothing we haven’t seen before – several times – like so many times), and a whole lot of media bashing, Housewife Monique Samuels made the decision to leave the show.
After her exit from the show, Potomac producers reportedly began looking for TWO new Housewives to join the cast. Before you get too excited, no they’re not replacing Robyn Dixon quite yet. Can you believe she’s squeaked through this long on an ex-husband and condo-living story line?
Before Real Housewives of Salt Lake City even started airing, we all knew that Mary Cosby married her step-grandfather, Robert Cosby Sr. We were all under the impression (because she told us) that her grandmother asked her to do so.
Mary became a First Lady of their church in addition to inheriting some restaurants, more homes than she can count, Chanel bags (that may or may not make her happy), and a bunch of throne-like chairs. Well, I don’t know if she inherited the chairs or if she just bought them with that church/restaurant money, but I’m just looking for a plausible explanation for her decor. The more Mary that I see, the more fascinated I am by her. In contrast, Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant doesn’t feel that way. She wants less Mary on Season 2.
Kate Chastain may be done wearing a khaki skirt with a polyester polo on Below Deck, but she still (clearly) has a strong relationship with the Bravo network. She and Porsha Williams executive produce and host the virtual talk show Bravo’s Chat Room. Or at least they did. Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant and Summer House’s Hannah Berner have also served as co-hosts.
However, Kate has been absent from the most recent episodes. And, now, she’s apparently done with the job. But, why is that? It’s not as if she could blame her exit on the commute since it’s a virtual job. (Lame joke…. let’s continue).
Monique Samuels and Karen Huger came for Gizelle Bryant and her fake relationship with Jamal Bryant during the Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5 reunion episodes. Real Housewives of Potomac viewers came for host Andy Cohen for the way that he felt he treated some of the cast members, specifically Monique.
“quit” announced her departure from the show right after the last reunion episode ended. Then, Andy addressed the backlash against him. So did Monique. And, in addition to all of that, Andy addressed the claims that a Gizelle meltdown was edited out of the reunion. To be honest, this wouldn’t be surprising. We all know Andy, an executive producer on the show, plays favorites. Plus, Gizelle is also on the snooze-inducing show Bravo’s Chat Room. It would make sense for the network to protect someone who’s considered “talent” (lol) on two different shows.
